In a serious match, the Cleveland Neutral Tones and Philadelphia Birds played to a draw, ending in an 18-18 tie at Lincoln Money Field. The Neutral Tones led 15-10 going into the last quarter, but couldn't maintain their lead as the Birds managed to even the score at 6:16.

During the intense game, rookie QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson made his debut start, showing both agility and a talent for deep throws. Thompson-Robinson impressed with a 36-yard throw to WR Cedric Tillman, a 22-yard connection, and a 27-yard pass to WR Austin Watkins. He completed 13 of 25 passes for a total of 164 yards.
